iPhone 3Gs is the latest gadget launched by Apple. It’s the hippest and coolest big thing ever created in this new generation. Now raging rumors are invading the internet. The consumers are taking the temperature warning in the screen seriously. Now, the question is, is it overheating or not? Apple had just issued an official statement that the iPhone 3Gs overheating issue is just a matter of common sense warning. Any support document will probably warn users that all gadgets should not be stored in an environment temperature that will exceed in 113 Fahrenheit. Though there are some incident reports that iPhone 3Gs have been affected by this overheating to the extent that the white one turns pink.

The rumors began at a certain French site Nowhereelse.com. The iPhone 3Gs discoloration was said to be cause by overheating and it became noticeable when it was use over GPS in 3G wireless. iPhone 3Gs tends to be warm after use according to some users. Apple guarantees the consumers that their touch screen phone was specifically designed for long usage that would not result to overheating.

But Apple also considered some instances that iPhone 3Gs is equipped with 600mhz of CPU-intensive applications such as music players and GPS that might cause the overheating. In lieu with that, iPhone 3Gs can result to overheating if it was use in the temperature over 95 degrees. It triggers temperature condition and might temporarily shorten the battery life. If in case iPhone 3Gs exceeds those temperatures, the display might lack brightness or weaken the signal. It’s not just overheating but the whole function.

iPhone 3Gs became the latest craze for all ages. With or without the overheating issue, still the phone was selling like hot pancakes. This issue is just a simple matter of how consumers use their iPhone 3Gs and the overheating malfunction wasn’t a factory defect.
